Japanese invasion of China(1937) This event occurred July 7th,1937 in Northern China. On July 17th, Japanese government was urged up on by Secretary of State Hull to refrain for war. That damage would be great for both sides in the war.

Germany's invasion of Poland(1939)

Hitler went along and pursued the pact anyway in order to neutralize any possibility of a French-polish alliance. This attack took place on December 7th, 1941. It occurred on the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor, on Oahu Island. The attack was caused by the Japanese and precipitated the entering of the U.S. into WW2. -
