    Schutzstaffel (better known as SS) was established by Hitler, and they were the protection squad that removed and eventually murdered persecuted groups like the Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Homosexuals, and more. The SS being organized impacted the persecuted groups that would later be hurt and harmed by them.

    Hitler Became Chancellor
    President Paul von Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor (head of German government.)This would impact Germans, because Hitler would then be the head of their government.

    There was a fire in the Reichstag, and Hitler blamed it on the Communists, and then he took emergency control/power.

This affected anyone with a mental or physical disability because they were forced to be sterilized and no longer could have kids.

    These were two distinct laws including the Reich Citizenship Law which stated that only people of German blood could be citizens of Germany, and the Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor which banned marriage between Jews and non-Jewish Germans. This impacted Jews, because they were then not considered German citizens, and they were unable to be married to anyone besides other Jews

    Nazis Occupied the Rhineland
    Provisions of Treaty of Versailles forbade Germany to have armed forces in a demilitarized zone in the Rhineland, but Hitler then ordered German troops to reoccupy the zone. This would impact Germany because they would think the Treaty of Versailles just does not apply to them anymore. It also impacts the countries who were involved with the treaty, because Germany would be doing things unrestricted with no consequences.

    German troops occupied Lodz, and then opened the Lodz Ghetto and crowded over 150,000 Jews into an area of about 1.5 square miles. This impacted the Jews that had to live there and later Gypsies.

    Construction of Auschwitz 1 (main camp) began in April 1940, and it was the first concentration camp created. This event impacted the Jews, non-Jewish Poles, Roma (gypsies), Soviet prisoners of war, and a couple other persecuted groups. Approximately 1.1 million of these people were murdered at Auschwitz.

This impacted the prisoners at Auschwitz and Birkenau, because they would not get killed by going to those places (gas chambers and crematoria.)

    Adolf Eichmann was a high-ranking Nazi official and was captured in Argentina by Agents of the Israeli Security Service, and they brought him to Israel to stand trial for war crimes. The group impacted by this would be the all those who were persecuted and suffered at concentration camps, because this event brought justice to the people who suffered.

    Josef Mengele died in Brazil where he escaped to avoid prosecution as a war criminal. He died due to a stroke then drowning. This impacted the prisoners at Auschwitz, because it would have probably given them closure.
