In 1933 after the death of Hindenburg and the burning of the capital building. Hitler pinned the blame of the capital burning down on a communist who was nearby. He got people to believe him and used it to bring him power. In March, he got parliament to pass the Enabling Acts, giving him all-power to the government.

When Hitler and the Nazi regime gained control of the government, they quickly started their evil deeds. They took their political enemies and arrested them.

The Germans put out signs on the front of shops, it was to boycott Jewish shops. This was part of the beginning of the hatred that would be displayed towards the Jews.

The Nazi's first started segregating the Jews into one race. It showed the difference between the race and taught Youth, called "Hitler Youth", that they were superior to Jews.

Hitler labeled all jews enemies of the country. They completely started treating them inhuman along with anyone they didn't like. They sent them to concentration camps.

A German Diplomat was killed by a Jewish man for harassing his parents. The german response to that was them burning down Jewish owned buildings, stores, and Synagogues.

Life in the ghettos was rough. They were seized of everything valuable and they were put into small dirty areas with a lot of people. When there is a lot of people in one place it breeds diseases and hunger. These people faced both of those and some. Some of them didn't even have good enough shelter.

In 1939 Hitler started his plan "The Final Solution" which consisted of the mass killing of Jews wherever they were. A mobile killing squad would kill people out of concentration camps by marching them to the forest and shooting them. In the concentration camps, they put people inside of the gas chambers and when they all died they burnt the bodies.
