    Hitler starts killing people that are in his way, he kills the people that did anything against their government. Hitler also killed Gypsies, Jews, Freemasons, Jahovah's Witnesses, communists, socialists, and liberals.

    On this date Hitler ordered all non-Aryans to be removed from government jobs. This was Hitlers first moves in a campaign for racial purity

    Germany tightened their hold on Germany. Jews were now stripped their German citizenship, jobs, and property, and so Hitler could identify them, they had to wear a bright yellow star of david attached to their clothing

    Nazi storm troopers attacked Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues across Germany. 100 jews were killed and many more were injured, also about 30,000 jews were arrested. synagogues were burned down, and after all this the nazis blamed the jews for the destruction

    The Nazis build giant walls with barbed wire around the polish "ghettos" - a place in poland with a lot of jewish population.
    They also build factories for the people to work in. Bodies were flowing around the streets in there, and life inside the "ghetto" was miserable.
    Consentration camps - if they jews werent killed in their homes , they were dragged out to camps where they worked, and when they got too weak to work they got killed, they suffered from hunger.

    A lot of Jews and Eastern Europeans coming from Germany was afraid what was gonna happen if they stayed in Germany, so they took the St. Louis to try and get into Cuba. Even though most of them had U.S immigration papers they would still not let them in to the U.S or Cuba, that meant that they had to go back to Germany, and here the Nazi's were right on their doorstep again. Half of the men/women/children on the ship died in the holocaust.

    Death camps, Auschwitz, and Chelmno
    Auschwitz, and Chelmno were death camps, Jews got sent there and on their arrival they were met by a doctor, who would seperate them if they could work or not. Hunger was a big problem at these camps. People at these camped worked all day, 7 days a week, and if they got too exausted to work, they would get shot.

    The Germans made gas chambers, because they couldnt kill people fast enough as they did by shooring them. At those camps sometimes up to 12,000 people a day would be gassed. People were starving and if they didnt die from hunger they were shot. because they didn't work fast enough. A new load of people came in every day. The camps had more than one gas champers. People at these camps were killed by getting shot, being hung, being gassed, or getting lethal injections.
