  • Hitler's Rise

    January 30th,1933 marked the date for the rise of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party. President Hindenburg appointed Hitler chancellor of Germany.

  • EXTERMINATION OF JEWS

    Hitler in the Reichstag speech," if war erupts it will mean the Vernichtung (extermination) of European Jews." Germany invaded Poland, over the next year Nazi Germany and allies conquered much of Europe.

  • Concentration Camps

    A concentration camp was established in Auschwitz.

  • Auschwitz II to kill the Jews

    Germany turned on the Soviet Union and Auschwitz II was established.

  • The Start of EXTERMINATION

    Extermination began in Belzec and by the end of 1942, 600,000 Jews were mudered.

  • Fight Back

    There was an armed revolt in the Sobibor extermination camp.

  • Beginning of Death March

    German officers tried to assassinate Hitler. 40,000 Jews from Budapest to Austria.

  • The End

    Hitler commits suicide. Auschwitz was evacuated and began the death march. End of World War II
