    Germany lost in WWI with burden and embaressment with signing the Treaty od Versailles. This all led to chaos which paved the way for parties with extreme views to take hold for the germans.

    Hitler undertook political training including speeches to troops about German nationalism and anti-socialism, he then developed more skills. The German Workers Party right wing nationalist party lead by Karl Drexler. Eventually, had Hitler join the German Workers Party Organization, as it seemed to represent all that he believed in.

    Hitler appointed head of DAP
    Hitler discharged from the army, and took over the German workers party publicly and propaganda. He changed the name to National Socialist Workers Party (NSDAP). This party was involved in tons of hatred politics. This gave Hitler control over what would be the Nazi party.

    Hitler returns
    Hitler started the march to the center of Munich with 2000 men.He tried to take over the government with the Munich Putsch. Hitler was defeated in a street battle and was tried with treason. He was sent to Landsberg prison for 5 years of which he only served 9 months. During this time he wrote Mein Kampf that was basically the Nazi bible. This gave him time to realize that he wanted power. On December 20, 1924, Hitler was released from prison and re-found the Nazi party.

    The Reichstag Fire gave Hitler the chance to enact the enabling laws which then gave him dictatorial like powers. Only 94 Democrats voted against it, but this gave Hitler the authority to make his own laws without the Reichstag's approval. Hitler did a lot to then manage to turn the 288 seats into a majority.

    When Hitler became the dictator, the Jews were banned from tons of things. They were banned from professions like law, medicine, and teaching. A lot of Jews that had store were to be shut down; the Jews were basically segregated and treated poorly. They were eventually put into concentration camps, they were put through so much trauma.     Hitler’s preceded deals led him to murder the leadership at the SA and his political opponents within his party. With doing this he accomplished lots of things, like getting the army and Hitler also announced to the Reichstag who he murdered.

    Hitler established a system of totalitarian control over all aspects of the German society. Nobody was to criticize the government; there were bands on everything possible. There was a secret police that enforced the dictator's commands. They were called the Geheimes Staatspolizei that became notorious throughout Europe.

    A month later Hindenburg died and Hitler then held the positions of president and the chancellor. He then went after the Jewish people and implemented the Nuremburg laws, which were for the Jewish people to wear the Star of David. He did so much bad things; he was on his way to encounter more power. Hitler then declared himself as fuhrer (leader).
