    The Elementary and Secondary Education Act helps families with low income to have access to high quality education programs. Schools that provide free and reduced lunches for students. This act was created to improve the performance of elementary schools and secondary schools.

It prevents discrimination for students with disabilities when receiving funding's from federal program.     The Americans with Disabilities Act began in 1990, it prohibited discrimination for individuals with disabilities in private sectors such as schools, jobs, public transportation and more. This act assured that accommodations were being made in public places to make them more accessible for disabled individuals. The Americans with disabilities act allows hearing aids, ramps, rails, braille, canes, and sign language in public areas.

    The No Child Left Behind Act requires students with disabilities to participate in statewide assessments. This law increases accountability standards causing age level learning expectations. It allowed parent to choose schools whether their title I funds, or charter schools. The states had greater flexibility when choosing their federal education fund some that were for teacher quality, reading and technology.

    This act was passed by President Obama in 2015, providing equal opportunity of education for all students. It’s like the No Child Left Behind Act, with the goal of improving educational outcomes for students. This law was passed due to the efforts of educators, teachers, parents, and communities who fought for child’s rights. This law helped closed the gaps in achievements within the school system.
