  • Nazi Party formed

    The Nazi Party was started by 3 Germans. The German Army became worried this would be a revolutionary group. They sent Adolf Hitler to spy on them, and Adolf realized that the Nazi Party's philosiphies were very similar to his own. Hitler joined the party while it was still relatively small. This event is important because if Hitler never joined the Nazi Party, it may not have become what it was at the peak of World War 2.
  • Chinese Communist Party formed

  • Facists Take Over, Mussolini becomes Prime Minister

  • Beer Hall Putsch

    The Nazis attempted to overthrow the German Government in Munich. Hitler said during the attack that it would be the start of the revoultion. The Beer Hall Putsch was an important event that took place before World War 2 because if they had succeded, the World War 2 timeline would be very differant from today.
  • Lenin dies and Stalin takes over

    Stalin had a very large impact on the Soviet Union. If Stalin was not the leader of the USSR, it may have been a healthier nation or have had a worse millitary. A lot of things could have effected the USSR which would have effected the outcome of World War 2.
  • The Great Depression

    America, and later the rest of the world, experiences an economic depression. This is an effect of World War 1, and the spending that was spent to support it and to repair the aftermath of it.
  • Japan leaves the Leauge of Nations

    Japan left the Leauge of Nations because they have been accused by them about Manchuria. This caused distrust, and angered Japan which will later come into play during World War 2.
  • Hitler becomes Fuhrer, Chancellor and Head of State

    Hitler becoming the leader of Germany shows his rise of power. If Hitler was not the leader of Germany, World War 2 would be very different.
