Once they started a good foundation, they started to build settlements taking away the aboriginal's territory.

So, they fought and there was a big battle and eventually the Boxers lost.

    Australian soldiers mounted on horse's were travelling in Gaza to take over a town guarded by the Turkish they were guarding. The Australian soldiers and horses were thirsty hot and had limited time in their mission. They saw the Turkish in trenches with machines guns. They lined up and rushed straight in and over the trenches on their horses. The bullets flew over their heads. With these rapid horse attacks, the mission was successful, and they managed to take over the town.
