  • Concept Of Telephonoscope

    The ideo of TV images in motion was first brought up in 1878 as the telephonoscope.

    Paul Gottlieb Nipkow, patented the first electromechanical TV system which had a scanning disk, a spinning disk with holes spiraling toward the center.

  • Moving sillhouette images

    Using the disk that was invented in 1884, John Logie Baird made the transmission of moving silhouette images.

    Bell Telephone and the U.S. Department of Commerce have the first long distance use of television between New York and Washingtion DC.

    John Baird opens the first TV studio, but image quality was bad.
