    Not exact date Now people in Britan could automaticaly exchange calls. People can now make teheir own calls whenever they want to do it.

    Not exact date A man named Lee De Frost put a patent on his new invention. His is was a vaccume tube that boosted transmission and made it possible to call ove a long distance. Now no one used a telegraph to say something over a long distance.

    Not exact date Many volenteers and the army put a telephone line up that streched 400 miles. The enginers there built a two way air to ground radio equipment. This made it much easier to communicate during the war.
