    The first printer was not the kind of printers we use today. The old ones were a press, and there were letters with ink which you would press down to type something so it was kind of like a type writer.

  • First Camera

    The first camera was a big box and it took 8 hours of light exposure to take out a photo and it faded away quickly. Also it didn’t make hard copy photos it projected the photo on a board.
  • First Mechanical Computer

    The first mechanical computer was capable of doing basic calculations and making hard copies of the results.
  • First Phone

    Was basically a mic and speaker a person would speak into it and the words would be said at other end of the phone at the same volume.
  • First Remote Control

    The first remote controls were heavy and wired in the TV and the buttons were not rubber like the ones we have today.
  • First Touchscreen

    The first touch screen was a finger-driven touch screen on a computer from the 1960s with a touch interface, the touch screen was used for air traffic control.
  • Internet

    The internet used to be slow and not look as good as internet today. The internet was a small network for communication. The internet started off as a network but quickly grew with more computers joining the network.
  • First Smartwatch

    The first smart watch couldn’t do that much as the newer models can, the first fully electronic watch couldn’t connect to a phone like it can now but it had a built in calculator. It was made out of 18 karat gold like the newer Apple Watch Edition. The pulsar cost 12,200 USD and the Apple Watch Edition cost 17,000 USD also the cheapest Apple Watch Sport costs 400 USD.

    The GRIDpad was one of the first tablets. It was bulky and heavy compared to the tablets of today. The tablet was 3,750 USD and an iPad Air 2 is 275 USD.
  • First iPod

    The first iPod was heavy and thick unlike the new iPods, the first iPod was 8mm and the thinnest iPod, iPod nano 7th gen is 5.4mm. The old iPod was 400 USD for the 5 GB and 500 USD for the 10 GB and now for a 128 GB iPod touch is 400 USD.
