    In the early 2000's, Steve Jobs had the idea of creating a tablet. This tablet is now known as and Ipad. The idea of the Ipad came before the Iphone. The Iphone was a spin-off idea of the Ipad. That is why the Iphone came out and after it's huge success, they then created the Ipad.

    Even thought the first Ipad was only available on the Apple stores and on the Apple website sold 300,000 in the first day and exceeded 1 million in sales.

    the Ipad 2 was thinner lighter faster and with 10 hourrs of battery life, it was a huge upgrade from the original ipad
  • Original Ipad Prototype

    The original Ipad prototype was incredibly thicker wider and all around bigger than any Ipad ever seen. It was more of an Imac sceen than an Ipad.
  • Ipad 3

    Following the footsteps of previous Ipad models, the Ipad 3 came out a year after the last. Added on to the Ipad specs, the new Ipad came with a A5X processor chip as opposed to the previous A5 chip. It also came with a retina display screen. The new Ipad sold over 3 million units in the first day.

    There was not much of a difference between the ipad 3 and 4 other than the fact that the ipad 4 had a new A6 chip that came with pre-installed IOS 6 and a lightning dock connector.
  • The Ipad Air (5th generation)

    The Ipad air came with an A7 chip and motion processor. It was much thinner than any previous ipad or i device for that matter.

    The ipad mini released the same year as the ipad air came with an A7 chip and motion processor. It was shrunk smaller than any previous ipad

    The ipad pro is supposed to come out soon. It is supposed to be a larger ipad with a precision stylus with the optional 258gb storage space.
