    The Little Lost Child
    The Little Lost Child was a popular song of 1894 by Edward B. Marks and Joseph W. Stern which sold more than two million copies of its sheet music following its promotion as the first ever illustrated song, an early precursor to the music video.100 years before YouTube was created, the two came up with the idea of creating slides to illustrate their sentimental composition and they presented the song with appropriate illustrations, in theatre.

    These were a short-lived series of five shorts produced by Leon Schlesinger and released through Warner Bros. The shorts were primarily live-action with limited abstract animation. each short is thought to be ca. six minutes long and features art deco style animations combined with film of the live-action performer. For its time those shorts are considered to be innovative and could be considered to be one of the earliest music videos.

    In July 2010, the video for Justin Beiber's "Baby" became the most viewed video in YouTube history until it was surpassed by Psy's hit single "Gangnam Style" in November 2012. On 5th March, 2014, "Baby" became the second video, after "Gangnam Style", to receive 1 billion views on YouTube, and remains the second-most-viewed video on the site, with over 1.21 billion views as of 17 September 2015. Despite this, the video has many more dislikes than it has likes.

    On 24th Novemeber 2012 Gangnam style became the most watch Youtube video ever when it surpassed the music video for "Baby" by Justin Bieber. On December 21, 2012, "Gangnam Style" became the first YouTube video to reach one billion views. The song's music video has since been viewed over 2.41 billion times on YouTube.
