They also appeared in The Girl Friend (1926), Show Boat (1927) and Irene (1919-1921). They are arguably the most famous musical duo from the era and set the path up for following acts like Charlie Chaplin. -
Show boat
One of the first musicals. It was described as having musical comedy and musical storytelling. This would go on to influence a lot of future musicals. It was revived in 1932 by Ziegfeld in 1932 and kept almost all of the original cast. It was also revived in 1936 and was made made into a film by Universal Studios. This goes to show the popularity of some of the early musicals. -

Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadow, was the name of The Rolling Stones song which was the bands first music video. The Rolling Stones have been described as the pioneers of rock and roll and the rock and roll lifestyle and influenced a lot of later rock bands. -

It has been named as one of the 100 greatest videos ever made and was influenced by the horror film An American Werewolf In London. It was the first music video to ever be added to the National Film Registry. -

This has bee described as one of the most influential music videos as it showed themes of anarchy and rebellion which were prevalent in the 80's. It has been described as depicting the greatest gig you could ever imagine. -

This music video is said to have influenced all pop acts, male or female. It was said that the only thing that would change was the location and faces. -

YouTube was launched which is now a huge platform for music videos. The music channel on YouTube has 97,327,750 subscribers. This is the most subscribed channel on the platform. -
Oasis made their first music videos
Despite having hits in the 90's, the earliest music videos I could find were from 2008. The earliest I could find was Cigarettes and Alcohol which was published to YouTube on February 7th, closely followed by Supersonic on February 8th. Oasis are one of the most famous and liked modern rock bands emerging in the 1990's. They have also inspired some of the later rock bands of today. -
Most disliked music video on YouTube
Justin Bieber's Baby is the most disliked music video on YouTube with 7,789,190 dislikes. It has more dislikes than likes. This video kicked off artists sharing their videos on YouTube as they could get a lot of views and boost their popularity, at the time Justin Bieber wasn't famous. If he could get a lot of attention, so could a well respected artist. It mostly started pop stars sharing their content on YouTube.
