    Konrad Zuse earned the title "Inventor of the Modern Computer" when he came out with the Z3. It was important because it was the first really big advancment in computer technology. It was the first freely programmable computer.

    John Backus and IBM create the first succesfull and fully functional computer code. It's important because it opened the door for computers to be able to do more things, and for other programmers to develop and add on to the working code.

    Nicknamed 'the mouse' because of the tail that protruded from the end, the first prototype was developed using a the GUI interface windows. The event matters because it makes the computer easier to use, opening up the window for a wider range of users

    Tim Berners Less created the internet as we know it. It revolutionized computers. It developed a whole new array of tasks that a computer could do.

    Also in '91 laptops came into play. It was a whole new way to look at how a computer could be used. They were portable computers that could perform the same functions as a desk top

    I mean, come on it was a tiny computer that fit in your pocket. IBM released the first phone will internet capabilities including calanders, address books, and email services.
