  • The pier opens

  • The Curzon opens

    In 1912 the curzon opens, and the first screening was a special matinee to raise funds for the Lord Mayor of London Appeal for the survivors and relatives of those lost in the RMS Titanic disaster a few days previous.
  • The Clevedon 'Blitz'

    103 bombers from Luftfloffe 1&2 raid Avonmouth. Due to cloud cover and lack of visability, most of the bombs landed on the Seventh Estuary. One, however, landed at the bottom of Hill Road, and shattered the glass on the front of the Curzon.
    One person was killed, Private William Wraith, of 4th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.
    All in all, 9 high explosive and 600 incendiary devices fell in Clevedon.
  • The pier collapses

    Span no. 7 collaspses during stress testing, bringing down span no. 8 aswell. This left the Pier head standing out at sea.
  • Yeo Moor Primary school opens

    The schools Yeo Moor Infant and Yeo Moor Junior amalgamate to become Yeo Moor Primary School
