    The Amercan League proved themselves to be worthy of being a professional. As this happened, both the American League and the National League created a seris where the champions of the two leagues competed for one victory. Thus, the World Seris was born.

    Babe Ruth had been the face of the Red Sox, untill he was sold to the Yankees. It came down to just being about the money, Teh famous "called shot" would have never happened if he had not been a part of the Yankees, just like other numerous events that would not have happened.

    Don Larsen was amoung the least expected to pitch a perfect game. Although, he proved them wrong by accomplishing a perect game during a World Seris in 1956. It still remains the only postseason perfecto.

    Tommy had hurt his elbow in the summer of 1974, and learned that he had torn one of his ligaments. He wasn't expected to pitch again and everyone thought he was done for. Although, his surgery changed everything. His sergury gave over a 90% success rate, and over 150 players have had it currently.

    After the tragic accident on 9/11, New York was lost along with their baseball team. On september 21st the Mets returned to their home feild and played the first game since the attacks. They were playing against a long time rival, and this demonstrated to the world that differences can be out aside. That night was just about baseball.
