In 2018 Mandarin Chines and Arabic are added as official languages of the IB program, reflecting the broadening international learning community. -
5000 World Schools
In 2020 the milestone of 5000 official World Schools is reached. These schools offer a range of IB courses, from the early years, middle years, diploma programs and career related certificate. -
IB courses available as virtual learning
By 2025, all IB subjects and courses will be available to remote students as a virtual learning experience. Webinars and podcasts of lessons will be available for the entire subject content and students undertaking subjects with a practical component will be able to upload themselves performing the required activities. Tutor assistance will be available online in real time by qualified IB teachers.
