U.S Space Shuttle Lands
The Endeavour was the fifth and final NASA shuttle to be built. The first time it was taken off on May 1992. The mission for this shuttle was to collect a Intelsat VI Satellite. The satellite failed to go into the leave the earth's surface. This impacts my life because during the time before and after I was born, NASA was trying to find more things out about the universe, and I've learned about science in school. -
Birth
Born in Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ. I was told that when I was born, my parents chose my name because they saw a piece of paper and decided to call me Paige. But that was obviously them trying to be funny. -
Clinton- $20 Trillion Loan To Mexico
This has impact on the mexican peso and the U.S dollar. Clinto made sure that there wouldn't be a financial disaster so he asked to get a loan to pay back Mexico. This has an impact on my life because it changes the value of the U.S dollar and the way Americans spend it. -

Iraq and surrounding states would begin to attack U-2 survelliance planes that were used by UNSCOM which stands for United Nations Special Commission. Many spectators would try to mandate Saddam Hussein involving the 1991 Gulf War. This impacts my life because than my life would be different if the planes weren't destroyed. -

The Euro was introduced to become competitive with the U.S dollar. The main reason why the Euro was founded was to make the European nations look like they have power. This impacts my life because the U.S didn't like the idea that Europe had this new cureency, and they questioned why they changed and how it affected the U.S. People that were traveling to Europe from other countries hated the Euro because it's different and more expensive in some terms then other currencies. -

Asian Tsunami
In South-East Asia, a tsunami occurs and reaches 9.3on the Ritcher scale for earthquakes. 290,000 people died from Sri Lanka to Indonesia which created the greatest humanitarian tragedies in history. This impacts my life because earthquakes can happen anywhere, at anytime. In the U.S, we have earthquakes in California and many other states on the West Coast. -
Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina effected the Gulf Coast mostly in New Orleans. 1,300 people move from Alabama to Louisiana and it was one of the worst natural disasters in the U.S. This even doesn't personally impact my life, but it impacts America. I can relate in a way because Manville got hit by Irene and many of my friends and family were effected and lost their belongings. -

Barack Obama, a Democrat from Illinois becomes the first African-American president. Obama won 365 to 173 on the Electoral College for the election of the 44th president. This impacts my life because in the history of presidential elections, we have never had an African-American president before. Throughout history, African-Americans have struggled to become equal and when Obama was elected president, it proved that everyone is equal. -

Swine Flu, also called H1N1 virus became a global pandemic. Swine Flu came from Mexico and made it's way to the U.S and the symptoms were; cough, fever, sore throat, aches and pains. This impacts my life because a student in our school had the Swine Flu and I or other students could have gotten it. -

Oil Spill
A British Petroleum deep water pil rig explodes in the Gulf of Mexaico. This was the largets oil spill in the history of the U.S. 11 workers died in the process, tourism and fishing have been effected by this disaster. This impacts my life because the oil could've spread throughout the Gulf more and the U.S would loose the abaility to ship and recieve manufactoring goods that we need. -
Osama Bin Laden Captured
The U.S Navy Seals captured Osama Bin Laden in his hideout in Pakistan. After 10 years of tracking Osama, he was finally captured and faced his death. He committed war crimes and had to become elligible to face them. This impacts my life because I live in the N.J and New York is right next to me. He could've attacked N.J instead. -
