Atmospheric Oxygen
Due to the bacterial life forms producing oxygen we get atmospheric oxygen! Take a deep wiff! cough cough hack! -
The Earth is formed!
We are going to say that today is 4.56 billion years ago. Lets assume that time is a mobius strip so we can justifiy that any point in time is every point in time. It made sense to me. Maybe I'm just sleep deprived and getting a god complex with a timeline. Anyway on this day 4.56 Billion years ago the Earth was formed! Now it needs some work! Lets start with getting a crust!

The Hadean Eon
Hardly an eon what with all the planetary formation and magma and such. There are most likely no rocks from this time period. It is the first eon in geologic time. This lasted about 800 million years. -
The Moon is Formed
During this time the earth was being beaten with impacts from other planetary-like objects. One of these ended up forming the Earth. Then the werewolves had something to howl at. Oh and we will eventually have tides and now we will be protected from impacts and it will slow down Earth's rotation allowing the surface to cool, thereby allowing a crust to form. It's not THAT important.

Very simple forms of life appear on Earth
Life appeared on Earth. Single celled organisims. Several forms of bacteria formed by 3.5 billion years ago. Some stromatolites might have been around and photosynthesis could have been occuring. Aw! Look at the cute lil planet take its first steps to being populated!

The Archean Eon
There were single unicellular life forms during this eon but fossils are extremely rare. Kinda like my steaks. Or Democrats in the south. Take your pick. Lasted about 1300 million years.
