Hitler Youth
Hitler youth were at first something for troubled or bored youth to do. Hitler was good to them, he made them think that he could do no wrong. he would help them, feed them, take care of them. When he was doing all of this he was "brain washing" the children. They later became the Nazis. -
Book burning
The Nazis burned the books that Hitler didn't approve of. Hitler didn't want the people to know anything. He wanted them to blindly follow him and what he said no questions asked. -
"The Father"
The Germans started calling Hitler "The Father" because the Nazis all started calling him that from when Hitler Youth started. -
Concentration camps
The Nazis started rounding up all the Jewish people and making them split up their families, and put them in Concentration camps. -
Jews in Hiding
Germans who were good, kind hearted people would hide Jewish people in their homes. The Germans knew if the Jews were found they all would be killed or all put in the camps. -
World war 2
World war 2 was started because of Nazi Germany. Hitler caused lots of problems through out the world. Attacking different countries. When Japan who was Germanys ally bombed Pearl Harbor America got involved and so on. -
Bombing
Civilians were getting their houses bombed in World war 2. They had to try to escape and stay in hiding. In a lot of cases the families would have a radio or a child sit on the roof top, blow a whistle when they would see a plane and everyone including the child would take cover. -
The star of David
The Nazis forced all the Jewish people to wear the star of David, they wanted to be able to tell who was a Jew quickly. If they weren't wearing their star they would be in big trouble.
