  • Birth Place

    Harriet Tubman was born in 1822, she was born in Dorchester County Maryland. She grew up with eight other siblings not including her. Sadly, most were sold to slave owners, and soon passed after that.
  • Marriage

    Harriet tubman got married at the age of 22 to a lawyer named John Tubman. They both lasted for a long time, there marriage was healthy until one dramatic point. Harriet realized that her husband had left and didn't come back for a long span of time. She then came to the conclusion that he became remarried. Harriet was devestated and that was a long struggle for her to get through along with all the other things going on in her life.
  • Underground Railroad

    Harriet noticed the unfairness portrayed with the underground railroad. She saved thousand apon thousands of people's live's. The way of the underground railroad kept people from being put into more and more pain, some were saved and helped in the experience while some others were put through terrible pain and suffereing.
  • End of the civil war

    When the civil war ended Harriet advances had proven a purpose. She (and many others) helped a lot of other people. She saved many people's lives and left a very big mark on history, and the way of racial equality. People have changed their perspective due to the life of others in need or pain.
