  • The Civilian Conservation Corps opens the first soil erosion control camp

    The Civilian Conservation Corps built over 160 soil erosion control camps, starting in Clayton County, Alabama.
  • FSRC

    The FSRC aided the homeless or needy by giving them agricultural commodities, including cotton goods.
  • Pigs Slaughtered

    For price stabilization, around 6 million pigs are slaughtered.
