    The Dust Bowl
    From Texas to Nebraska, extremely dry farm land created a huge dust storm that killed people, live stock, and crops.It drove many families to flee their farms. The horrible event only made the Great Depression worse. Here is a picture of the dust storm.
  • 1933 Election

    Franklin D. Roosevelt came into office and took charge. By his 100th day in office he signed and got congress to pass 15 new pieces of legislature to try and free the people from The Great Depression.

    The war against Nazi Germany began September 1st, 1939. The war flushed money through Americans slowly reviving economy; giving people jobs and requiring more resources to produced. The United States did not join the war effort yet, but the war had begun. It was the start of this war that ended the Great Depression in America.

    This is the day the United States officially joined World War 2. The Japanese sent suicide planes to the island of Hawaii to kill the American fleets. It was this direct attack that pushed the call for action.
