    Germany agreed to the treaty of Versailles. this made it so that the Germans had to admit to starting WWI along with losing a lot of territory, not being able to make an alliance with Austria Hungary and limiting Germany army to 100,000 people to name a few consequences

    Germany had a huge economic collapse. there was a huge inflation and nobody could pay with actual German currency.

    after months the president of Germany, Paul Von Hindenburg appointed Hitler chancellor of Germany.
