-Austria
-Czechosolvakia

Munich Agreement

An agreement between Germany, France, and Great Britian that peacefully allowed Germany to annex Sudentenland. Where prime ministers from France, Édouard Daladier, and Great Britian's Neville Chamberlain. Hitler said this was his last demand. The prime ministers agreed to avoid war.

He was Chamberlain's political rival, he believe that the priministers signing the Munich Agreement they took on a shameful policy of appeasement by giving up the goal to pacify an agressor.

Accusing Poles

Hilter began to accuse Poles of mistreating Germans in Poland, as he did in Czech.

Invasion of Czechoslovakia

German troops marched into Czechoslovakia,
Hitler took over Czech.
His next target was Poland.

Nonaggression Pact

Russia and Germany agreed to never to attack each other.
They also agreed to spilt the land of Poland.

Blitzkrieg in Poland

-Germany's airforce bombed cities, military bases, and railroads.
-German tanks drove through the countyside.

A new fighting technique, that used the technological advances such as faster tanks, and aircrafts to quickly initiate war, by suprising and supressing the country.

Declaring War Against Germany

France, Poland, and GB declared war against Germany.
Results:
-Soviet Union took over the eastern section of Poland.
-Germany annexed the western portion.

Invasion of Denmark & Norway

Apr 9, 1940

Hitler invaded Denmark and Norway, lying saying he was going to "protect their idependence and freedom" but his goal was to build bases to attack Great Britain.

France Surrenders

As France surrenders, Hitler's plan was to have Germans inhabit the north of France, and set Nazi-controlled government in the south of France headed a Marshal Philippe Petain.
-With France surrending Charles de Gaulle ran off to G.B.

War With Britain

Germany set up bases along the shore beings their naval power wasn't as strong. Hitler had 2,600 planes, each night from then he would bomb Britain, targeting London for the next two months.

Taking Down Aircrafts
