  • Armenia

    Armenia
    The organised Extermenation of Ethnic Armenians and other minority groups by the Ottomans in the Ottoman empire. An estimated 0.8 to 1.5 million people where killed. The genocide ended with the fall of the Ottoman empire after World War 1.
  • The Holocaust

    The Holocaust
    The systemised extermation of Jews and other minorities by the Nazis in their controled territory. an estimated 6,000,000 jews where killed and some other 4,000,000 non-jewish victims died. Victims where gased, shot, starved and the genecide ended on the 8th of May 1945 with the defeat of the Nazi regime.

    The extermination of any Cambodian citizen who oposed the Cambodian Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia was exterminated through violence. An estimated 2,000,000 people where killed in the span of four years. That is an estimated 25% of Cambodia's population at the time.

    The Genocide lasted from 1975 to october of 1999 and consited of the extermination of the East Temoran people by Indonisian troops. An estimated 90,000 to 200,000 people die of starvation or violence eliminating up to a quarter of the 1975 population.

    The extermination and destruction of homes of the Kurdish population in Iraq. Up to an estimated 182,000 people where killed some with chemical wepons. The genecide ended in 1989.

    The murder of the farmer population by a government backed militant group. 400,00 people have died with millions being displaced from their homes. The genecide is no longer government backed but the violence continues.
  • Bosnia

    Bosnia
    The Genocide in Bosnia largely refers to the ethnical cleansing of Muslim and Croatian Bosnians carried out by the self-proclaimed serbian backed government/army during the Bosnian war. The genocide consited of the death of as many as 8, 000 people of mostly Muslim belief and also had part in the displacement of more than 25, 000 people from their homes. The genocide ended with the Bosnian war in 1995.
  • Rwanda

    Rwanda
    Killing of ethinicaly Tutsi people by the Hutu government and population in Rwanda. Lasted aproximetly 4 months but as much as 20% of Rwanda's population was killed (about 1,000,000). The conflict only ended after the Tutsi backed Rwanda Patriotic Front siezed control of Rwanda through military means.
