    Correction, he's a Douche
This image shows a married couple that aren't very happy, and then once the wife goes to the doctors and finds out it's her hygiene, she gets recommended a soap and the wife now thinks of her husband as a "honey." This portrays a a common relationship dynamic for married couples way back then. A wife who is always responsible for the health and happiness of her marriage and husband, placing the man in a higher position over the woman.
  • Turns out we been knew

    Turns out we been knew
This ad shows a woman helping the war effort. They show her smiling, makeup done, working a lever on a small machine. She's already portrayed as docile and feminine. The caption below undermines women by acting surprised that women can be helpful dismissing all that they already do and what they could possibly do.
  • Eyebrows on fleeeeeeek

    Eyebrows on fleeeeeeek
This ad shows a woman holding a bottle with a cap that's supposed to be so easy to open even a woman could open it. This characterizes women as weak and only further increases the male ego because it would mean the woman would have to go to the man every time so he could help her open whatever container.
  • Women Under Dacron

    Women Under Dacron
This ad is selling trousers with a man's legs posed atop a tiger skin with a woman's head that's under his other foot. The caption saying 'it's nice to have a girl around the house' objectifies her and her head attached to a tiger skin under his foot only further pushes that. They compare her to an animal who was entranced by this man's trousers and was captured by the man like she's a trophy.
  • Sexy Circuits

    Sexy Circuits
This ad shows a woman holding a computer. The clothes she's wearing are purposefully styled to look very appealing and the adjectives used to describe the computer in bold almost seem to describe her, sexualizing her and kind of selling her in a way.
  • Sony Booty

    Sony Booty
This ad shows a woman's ass through a pair of transparent pants with a cassette and cassette player in the pockets. This ad is an obvious example of sexualization of women, by trying to sell a product using an almost nude photo of a woman's backside. Once again selling women as nothing more than sex.
  • Rockett Butt

    Rockett Butt
This ad shows a woman sitting on top of a computer monitor with an image of a rocket flying up. It looks as if the rocket is about to fly in between her legs. They are using the idea of sex to sell the computer and her open cleavage and seductive face only sell it even harder.
  • Boob Shoe

    Boob Shoe
This ad shows the midsection of a woman holding a shoe in her arms which are covering her boobs. The ad is trying to sell you the shoe, but they are presenting it with a naked woman. They are completely sexualizing women and it doesn't even make sense cause they're selling shoes.
  • Blow Your Subway

    Blow Your Subway
This ad is for a sandwich that will supposedly blow your mind away. The ad shows a woman turned, mouth open to a Subway sandwich. It's clearly an innuendo for nasty things, and once again an example of sexualization of women in adverts. Just this time in a more explicit way kinda.
