    The laos agreement was an agreement on nuetrality. It was held in Geneva. It was Signed by Burma, Cambodia, Canada, China, Vietnam, France, India, Poland, Thailand, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. They agreed to stay nuetral and not interfere with laos.

    Ngo Dinh Diem was a vietnamese dictator. He was overthrown in 1963. He was overthrown by ARVN. They didnt think it was safe for him to be alive so they killed him.

    President Kennedy was assinated on Nov. 22, 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald was accussed of killing him. There were many assumptions but no one really knows who shot him. Some people even think the c.i.a. was involved.

    The ARVN was defeated at the village of Binh Gia. It was a 6 day battle. They lost 600 troops. There were 300 wounded troops. There were only % dead americans and 3 missing.

    The battle lasted until April 14th. The N. Vietnamese troops were involved. There was costant bombing going on. There was a aerial bombardment campaign launched by the U.S. Air force to support the marine base. It was a tactical victory for the Marines.

    The Tet Offensive was a military campaign during the Vietnam War that was launched on January 30, 1968. It was between the Peoples Army of Vietnam and the Republic of Vietnam. There was an agreement to cease fire but it was broken by the Viet Cong. They launched an attack that same day.

    President Nixon announced that 50,000 U.S. troops will be pulled out of South Vietnam by April 15, 1970. This was the third time since June.Nixon made a Vietnamization program. That meant the South Vietnamese would have better training and new equipment so they could defend thereselves in the war.
