On June 12, 1630 Massachusetts Bay Colony was created.The ship of Massachusetts Bay Company arrived to officially colonize the colony. The company that founded Massachusetts Bay was founded by English Puritans who were mostly wealthy.

In June 1665, the English gained control of New Amsterdam. They later renamed it New York, named after the Duke of York.

On June 19 through July 11, 1754, the Albany Congress met. They met to resolve problems in the Ohio Valley.

On September 14, 1758, the fight at Fort Duquesne. The attack on Fort Duquesne was led by General John Forbes. He led about 6,000 troops there.

On February 10, 1763 the French and Indian War concluded. It ended with the signing of the Treaty of Paris.
