Forrest always walks with Jenny with his legs braces. One day, a group of bullies is chasing Forrest, Jenny ask him to run! Forrest tries his best but he can't. But he eventually break his legs braces and discover that he runs like the wind blows. -
For the first time, Jenny isn't going to school. Forrest runs to his home after school and discovers that his father molested her and her sisters. Jenny runs away and go live with her grandma. -
Forrest walks to town of Greenbow, Alabama. He watch a TV in a store and he watch Elvis Presley playing Hound Dog in the Milton Berle Show. -
Forrest gets once again chased by the bullies but this time with a car. Forrest runs right into a football field and he shock the manager of the Alabama Crimson, Bear Bryant. -
Bear Bryant recruits Forrest even if he doesn't know the rules. Bear wins every time cause Forrest is so fast. Forrest is now in college. Jenny is waiting to get accept in college. -
Forrest just finished a match and saw his college blocked by the governor George Wallace. He does not understand and he saw two black students enters in and he saw that the girl named Vivian Malone dropped a book. He get the book and give it to her. He gets back to the college. -
Forrest is so good and Bear put him in the All-American team (the best players of the year) He met president Kennedy in the Oval Office -
Forrest learns that Jenny enters to College. He's happy for her. He decide to return home. He saw a march with Martin Luther King. -
Forrest graduate and got draft by the Army. He befriends with Bubba, an african-american obsessed with shrimps. -
Forrest and Bubba are always talking about shrimp but Forrest is the best soldier of his group. He is the fastest soldier to form a carabine. His drill sergeant warns him that he will be a general one day. -
Forrest is ranked up to PFC. He learns that Jenny is now a singer in a strip club in Memphis, Tennessee. -
Forrest and Bubba are sent to Vietnam. They are in the platoon of the Lt. Dan. Bubba write on his helmet ''I'd rather go shrimping''. -
Forrest and his squad were walking in Delta Mekong. But it was an ambush, they were all attacked by viets. Forrest manage to survive and he save his friends and Lt. Dan. But he find Bubba too late. Forrest promise that he will open a shrimp corporation. -
Forrest was shot in the buttock. The wounded platoon were send to a medical American base in Saigon. Forrest discovers ice cream and became addicted just like Dr. Peppers. -
Forrest meets a soldier who plays Ping-Pong. His friend teach him and Forrest became a professional. -
Forrest learns that he have permission to take a pause and go to Washington to meet the president of the United States. He agree. -
Forrest arrives to Washington D.C. to met president Lyndon B. Johnson. His mom come too to watch. The president gave the Medal of Honor to Forrest. He want to see where he was hit. Forrest shows his buttock. Later he meets Jenny when she was with a hippie march with Abbie Hoffman. -
Jenny tells Forrest that she has to go to San Francisco, California for continue her singer career. Forrest say his goodbye. But Jenny does not starts a singer career but a drug and sex life. -
Forrest met Neil Armstrong and the other Apollo 11 crew. He want to teach them how to play Ping-Pong. -
Forrest wins a championship of Ping-Pong in China. -
Forrest is invited by the broadcaster Dick Cavett for the Ping-Pong championship. Forrest is alongside John Lennon, a singer. Forrest talks what China was like and John Lennon was sad to hear that and that gave him the idea to make a new song called ''Imagine''. After the interview, he reunites with Lt. Dan. -
Forrest and Dan spend Christmas together. -

Forrest is discharged from the Army and can return to Alabama to see his mom. -
Forrest meet the family of Bubba and they gave him a shrimp boat. He start shrimping and named his boat Jenny. He miss Jenny. He finds out that shrimping is hard. -
Forrest was naming his company Bubba Gump shrimp corporation but then, he saw Lt. Dan and he join his company. They found 3 shrimps per week. Forrest starts praying for shrimps. -
Forrest and Dan face Hurricane Carmen and by this incident, they managed to have a thousand shrimps. Bubba Gump corporation worth more than millions. -
Forrest learns that his mom died. Forrest is sad and earn the house. -
Forrest and Dan invest in Apple, a computer company of Steve Jobs. They meet him. -
Jenny runs away again and go to Georgia. Forrest is sad and decide to run for years. -
Forrest opens a Hospital near Bubba family house. He gives a half of his earnings to Bubba mother. -
Jenny returns to Forrest in Alabama and she give him as a gift a Nike Cortez. She leaves the same night. And Forrest decides to run. -
Forrest is running for 2 years now. Forrest is approach by a group and one of them ask him to give him a word for his company of stickers. He propose Shit Happens. He accept and the rest of the group follow Forrest. -
For 3 years and 1 month of running non-stop, he have a running group. One of them was shirt maker and he want an idea for a new shirt. Forrest's face is covered of mud and the guy gives him a yellow shirt. Forrest gives him the yellow shirt and the he discovers that it make a perfect Smiley. Some years later, he make a shirt company about the Smiley's. -
Forrest is now in Utah. 300 peoples are following him but Forrest is tired and he decide to go home by leaving them there. -
Forrest receives a letter from Jenny saying if he can come see her in Savannah, Georgia. He will come tomorrow. -
Forrest arrives to Jenny house. Jenny is now waitress and she's mom. Her boy's name is Forrest, just like him. She called him after the guy she have the little kid. Forrest respond ''Another Forrest?'' She said ''Your his father''. Forrest learns to meet him. -
Jenny and Forrest are married and Dan come to the marriage. -
Forrest learns that Jenny is sick. She has a deadly virus. -
Jenny died from her virus. Forrest visits her grave everyday. Forrest take care of the Little Forrest. -
Forrest wish his son to have a good day. He says goodbye and waits here to see a feather going to the sky.
