Lady Harting faced a lot of backlash over nepotism and the fact that she had barely any political experience. She was a famous Bromlavian actress. She became the first female PM of Bromley, but this is disputed by many due to her link with the PM and other factors.

As the founder of the Bromley Defence Party, a far-right political party, he won his first election and didn't hold another one until 1974 where he was pressured into doing it by rioters. Adams is noted as one of the most authoritarian and racist PMs of Bromley in history.

Three waves of civil conflicts occurred over the oppression of the black majority of Bromley. After Adams refused to hold the 1969 election, the black population declared war on the white population and years of rioting and conflict happened.

Prime Minister, Ibrahim Idris proposed to Parliament that he'd like to change the currency of Bromley from the Unionist Pound (UNP) to Bromlavian Cent. However, the cost of changing the currency would be $56 billion which the country did not have, or would have barely anything if these rights were purchased. The country to this day, still has the pound as its currency but plans to change it by 2030.

Between mid-November and early January, a pro-independence terrorist group Indipensiya Bakenfray, sparked a conflict after taking Winston Hargreaves PM, his staff, and family hostage. The conflict was aided on both sides by many international countries and eventually led to the coup d'état of Winston Hargreaves in mid December. The conflict ended after the Bromlavian government promised to increase funding into the region by building new public services like hospitals.

Winston Hargreaves PM was murdered by Barkenfrier rebels after fleeing to an emergency shelter near Hartingford. The assassination immediately led to Mark Ashford - Secretary to the Prime Minister - being sworn in as Prime Minister because of the Parliamentary line of succession.

Category 4 Cyclone Paula wreaked havoc in Eastern Antarephia after originating in the Asperic Ocean. The cyclone moved through the Holmic Islands and continued on a collision course to Bromley. The vast majority of Bromley was flooded and many people died. The Conservatives lost a lot of popularity during this event due to a lack of action.

A car exploded outside the Bromlavian Home Office on Mardy Gay Street, severely damaging the building along with the Sanmarquino Embassy and Foreign Office. Minor damage occurred to Parliamentary buildings opposite. It was concluded that this was not a Barkenfrier terrorist attack but a suicide bombing by a mentally unstable man named Alfred Frint.

Barkenfrier nationalists planted a bomb on a tram which had left minutes before from Sarit Cathedral Tram Terminus. The bomb killed 74 and injured 237. Prime Minister Sally Hansen was criticised for her lack of empathy towards civilians killed in the attack and was accused of being a terrorist sympathiser.
