Fidel Castro borns
The 13th August 1926 Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, mostly known as Fidel castro was born in the cuban city of Birán. His father was Angel Castro Argiz and her mother was Lina Ruz González. DUring his youngth Castro studied at the school of his village and later went to the Habana univeristy to study law. -
The confrontation with Batista
In 1952, Fidel castro denounced the leader of cuba, Fulgencio Batista, for going against the constitution. Castro's complaint was refused so he started to think that the only way to liberate Cuba was by means of violence. -
Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel Céspedes barracks
In consequence of the refusement of the complaint by Fidel castro, he organised an armed attack against 2 military barracks, both of them in the cuban province of East. This attacks were really well organised, with different groups and tactics to prevent from anything went wrong. -

Fidel Castro in the government
He was named prime minister the 16th February 1959 and then the 3rd December 1976 he got the position of President and he stayed in that position until 24th February 2008. Then From 2008 until his death he was a deputy in Cuba. -
USA boycott
Castro's Cuba did not agree with USA because the had opposite political ideas. Also Cuba was communist as USSR and USSR were opponents of USA (Cold War). During 1960 and he start of 1961 USA started to block all the imports and exports of Cuba anding by isolating them completely the 3rd January 1961. -
Misilles Crisis
During the cold war Cuba and USSR were allies so they made a pact against USA. THe decided to make USSR military bases in Cuba to have a great position against USA. Cuba and USSR wanted this pact to be secret but USA discovered them. THis made that a new "cold" problem appeared, with nuclear and military threats. -
Raúl Castro, brother and sucesor
Raúl castro was the younger brother of Fidel Castro. Both had the same political ideas. In 2006 Raúl started helping Fidel internally and from 2008 to 2018 Raúl officially helped Fidel led the country. In 2016 when Fidel cAstro died his brother started been the new leader. -

End of the Cuban Block
During Obama's term the situation between Cuba and USA improved. THe 17th December 2014 both presidents, Barack Obama and Raúl Castro had a meeting were they decided to relax the tension between both american countries. Few years later Donald Trump reinforced the tensions. -
Fidel Castro dies
The death of Fidel Castro was announced by means of a release by the cuban TV the 25 November 2016.Fidel Castro was 90 years old and the cause of the death was never reveled.
