Roosevelt begins the first hundred days of the landmark New Deal legislation, including the creation of the Civilian Conservation Corps, the signing of the Home Owners Refinancing Act, the Agricultural Adjustment Act and the Banking Act. It also established the National Recovery Administration, the Public Works Administration and the Civil Works Administration.
