The invention of the Floppy Disc.
Scene Description:Invented at IBM by Alan Shugart in 1967. It evolved into a 5.25 inch disk the was used in the first IBM personal computer. 1.44 megabyte of capacity. The Start of the Compact disc
The CD was introduced in the early 80, it offered better audio quality as its best application. Could offer 650 mg of storage but by the 90s 5 to 10 x’s larger. This storage enabled higher quality for audio.

The Establishment of Blu - ray
Scene Description:The Blu-ray uses a blue laser that reads the blue ray disc. A normal DVD uses a red laser, but a blue laser allows more density and storage space. The HD DVD
The HD DVD was created in november of 2003 by toshiba. It can hold 15 gb singular layer and a 30 gb dual layer. This used a blue laser like Blu-ray. Was able to buy two months before blue ray. Blu-Ray reigns supreme
Blu-ray provides high definition television recording. It also provides high definition video distribution, mass data storage. It also has a digital asset management and professional storage. The Blu ray won the battle against HD DVD's because it was more compatible with movie making companies
