    Seperation of the ancestors of the salamander

    As time went on, the Gerobatrachus hottoni began to seperate into frogs and salamanders. Some of them began to walk more but also stay in the water,which evolved into frogs, bust some of them mostly stayed in the water which caused them to evolve with much shorter legs, which became the salamander.

    The Eastern red backed salamander is found in wooden slopes in eastern North America. It is about 10 centimeters. The salamander is polymorphism which means that is has a pattern in it that is a different color, such as its red back or red stripe.
