    AEG (A.K.A Allgemeine Elektricitats Gesellschaft), an electric company in Germany was the first  to obtain a corporate trademark, which was designed by the architect/designer Peter Behrens
    . Behrens was appointed by the company as their designer in 1907 and created this trademark around 1908. .The creation of the trademark was the starting point for, what would be called later on, "Corporate Identity. -The design style was called "House Style" at first around that time.
