    The Treaty of Versailles is signed, ending World War I. 414 of the 440 clauses of the treaty punished Germany. Provisions included reparation payments, military restrustions, and war guilty clause that forced germany to take responsibilty for World War I.

    Then Reichstag (German Parlement) was burned to the ground. Hitler blamed the communists, but used this as an excuse to declare a national emergancy. 1,000's of communists were arrested and put into concentration camps.
