    It started when George Washington made France move. The British purpose was to tax colonists to provide for war. Colonists were very upset and left British colonys.

    It claimed East of Mississippi River and natives attacked the colonists. The British purpose needed money to support the war. The colonists must have been happy to have land in Ohio valley because of th elost of the France.

    It overruled the Treaty of Paris and limited colonists and how much land they get. The birtish purpose was so colonists were prohibited from the west of the Applachain Mountains. the reaction angered the colonists and were limited from the land of the west of the Applachain mountains.

    American General Horatio Gates surrounded Burgoynes remaining forces at Saratoga. Burgoynes surrened his entire army to the americans. It was a turning point in the war because Benjamin Franklin had helped negotiate Treaty of Alliance with France and Spain.
