  • The Albany Congress

    The Albany Congress had the British government involved in it and the British also invited the Iroquois tribes. The Albany Congress took place in Albany, New York. The main reason to why they had the Albany Congress was because the British wanted the colonies to agree to cooperate in defending themselves against the French.

    The French and Indian War

    The people that were involved in the war are the French and the Indians vs. British and colonists and Iroquois. They are fighting over the Ohio River Valley in North America. The outcome of the War is that the British end up winning the French and Indian War and the French lost all of there land.
  • The Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris had the Britain and the France involved in it. After both of them have signed it later on the French lost almost all of its North American possessions. This happened to the French territory both east and west of the Mississippi. This all happened because the France could no longer defend the rest of its North American territory and they ended up losing it to Britain. The Treaty of Paris also ended Quebec.

    Pontiac's War

    The leader of the Ottawa nation, Pontiac, formed the alliance of western Native Americans. What ended up happening is his allies attacked the British forts and settlements throughout that area. This happened at a battle ground near Fort Pitt. The War happened because the Native Americans formed and alliance and attacked the Brithish and they British fought back.
  • The Proclamation of 1763

    The Proclamation of 1763 involved the British government. After issuing the Proclamation of 1763 it banned colonial settlements west of a line drawn along the Appalachian Mountains, and settlers were told that they had to move to a location east of that line. This happened in or by the Appalachian Mountains. The reason to why they even allowed the Proclamation of 1763 to happen is because Britain wanted to avoid further wars with the Native Americans on the frontier from happening anymore.
  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act involved the British. When the British tried to put the Sugar Act on the colonies the Parliament ended up passing the Sugar Act. This happened not really in one specific place it happened to all of the colonies. The Sugar Act happened for one main reason and that is because the British wanted to impose new taxes on the colonies and also because it put a duty-or import tax-on several products, including molasses. It also called for harsh punishment of smugglers.

    The Stamp Act involved the Parliment and all the colonists. When he Parliment passed the Stamp Act what happened as a result of that is that all of the colonists had to buy tax stamps for all kinds of products and activities. The main place where this happened in in the House Of Burgesses. The reason to why they even passed the Stamp Act is because stamps had to be put on many of things such as newspapers, wills, licenses, insurance, polices, land titles, contracts, and many other documents.
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act involved the Parliment and the British. After the Parliment passed the Quartering Act what happened as a result is that the act required colonists to quarter, or house, British troops and provide them with food and other supplies that they needed. This act happened in all the colonies. The Quartering Act's purpose was to save money for the British government after the negative financial effects of the war.
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre involved British merchants and British manufactures, who put pressure on the Parliament. What ended up happening when they started this is an angry crowd of workers and sailors surrounded a small group of soldiers. This took place in Boston. This happened because Parliament repealed all the Townshend duties except the one on tea. That tax was left in force to demonstrate Parliament's right to the colonies. Which made them upset and started the Boston Massacre.
  • The Tea Act

    The Tea Act involved the British Parliament and the colonists. When the British Parliament passed the Tea Act it actually lowered the price of tea by allowing East India Company to ship tea directly to the colonies. But then the company put a monopoly on selling British tea in the colonies. The Tea Act happened because they wanted the colonists to pay tax on the tea. The colonial reaction was huge because they ended up boycotting the tea which hurt the company badly.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party only happened because a group of colonists called the Sons Of Liberty organized in port cities to stop the Company tea from being unloaded. This took place in New York, Pennsylvania and places with ports. When the Boston Governor decided that he wanted the tea to be unloaded a large group of men disguised as Native Americans and threw 342 cases of tea overboard and destroyed 90,000 pounds worth 1,000 dollars. They did that because they did not want to pay tax on tea.
  • The Intolerable Acts

    Intolerable Acts are 4 acts that the Parliament passed and are very harsh. They made the Intolerable acts because King George III wanted tough action to make examples of the people of Boston and Massachusetts. The acts were The Quartering Act, the act that closed the port of Boston, the act that abolished the upper house of the Massachusetts legislature, and the last act was the act that cut powers of town meetings. They made these laws in response of The Boston Tea Party.
  • The First Continental Congress

    The First Continental Congress is a meeting that was organized by the Committee of Correspondence and a group of people that discuss about what to do next. This all took place in Philadelphia. This took place because the Congress wanted and demanded a repeal of the Intolerable Acts and declared that the colonies had the right to tax and govern themselves. The Congress also called or a new boycott o British goods. It was then voted but its demands were not met.
  • The Battles of Lexington and Concord

    The Battles of Lexington and Concord are battles or wars that happened between the British and Lexington, and also Concord. This happened in Lexington and in Concord. The Battles of Lexington and Concord happened because the militia wanted to defeat the British and they tried but didn't win but they didn't lose either. So therefore they ended up training there militia and fighting again. After trying again the result was that the British ended up winning.
  • The Second Continental Congress

    The Second Continental Congress is a group of people who came together as the problem with the British got worse. The Second Continental Congress came together in Philadelphia. The group came together because most of the colonists did not want independence and many of them wanted to use force at anytime. During this meeting of there's they decided to chose George Washington as the commander of the newly formed Continental army. They also took steps to pay or its army by printing paper money.
  • The Battle For Fort Ticonderoga

    The Battle For Fort Ticonderoga is a battle that went on between a group of colonists and the British. Fort Ticonderoga was located at the southern end of Lake Champlain and protected the water route to Canada. The Battle For Fort Ticonderoga happened because the fort was important for two reasons and those reasons are, it was the main route between Canada and the Hudson River valley, and that it also held valuable weapons such as cannons. The winner of the battle ended up being the Americans.

    The Olive Branch Petition was the first resolution that was called between Britain and the colonies. The Olive Branch Petition happened because they wanted to make an agreement between the British and the American colonies. They ended up not making any agreements between each other because King George did not bother to answer the Olive Branch Petition. The petition got its name from the olive branch, a symbol of piece since ancient times.
  • The Battles Of Bunker And Breeds Hill

    The Battles Of Bunker And Breeds Hill is a huge battle that involved the British and the Americans on Bunker Hill. The other important battle also involved the British and the Americans who were on the Breeds Hill. The two battles happened because they wanted to finally defeat the British soldiers. But that did not end up happening what ended up happening is the British defeated the Americans. The hills were important because you could see all of Boston from them which gave them an advantage.
  • The Invasion Of Quebec

    The Invasion Of Quebec was when the Americans attacked Quebec during a bad snowstorm. But the invasion did not go as they planned it went for the worst. What ended up happening is that Montgomery was killed and Arnold was wounded very badly. Which gave everybody in Quebec an advantage because the Americans leaders are hurt so now they can kill the rest of the Americans. But instead what ended up happening was that the Americans withdrew leaving it to the British because of disease and hunger.
  • The British Withdrawal From Boston

    This event involved the British and Americans. This very important event happened because the Americans wanted to have Fort Ticonderoga so they got many powerful weapons and put them on high ground overlooking Boston so that the British could not leave Boston at all because if they tried to the Americans would attack them. When the British realized this they could only take it or so long so what ended up happening is they withdrew from Boston by sea and never returned again.
