French and Indian War
The French and Indian War was a fight over land. It was the British and the Colonists vs. the Indians and the French. After the war Britian was in debt (owed money) so Britian started to tax the Colonists. -
Proclomation of 1763
King George the 3rd proventedthe colonists of going west of the Appalation Mountains because it costed to much money to protect them from Indians. The king wanted to provent another war.The Colonists did not think the king could tell them where to go. -
Quartering Act
King George the 3rd forced colonists to house the British soldiers.The king made the colonists pay for all the soldiers needs. -
Stamp Act
King George the 3rd taxed colonists on all papers. This was the first tax from Britian.Colonists thought Britian had no right to tax them. -
Boston Massacure
The colonists were mad at the british soldiers for taxing them on paper, so a mob of colonists started to insult one British soldier. A group of British soldiers then came up to help that soldier.The British soldiers started to fire their guns and left 5 colonists dead and 6 wounded. -
Boston Tea Party
The colonists were mad at King George because he put a tax on tea without their approval so the colonists decided to sneak on the ships dressed as indians and they dumped 90,000 ponds of tea into the sea. -
