    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War ( Seven Years War) was between the British and the French and Indians. The war happened because Britian and France had always been in a conflict. The Indians went with the French because they were trading well. The results of the war made King George III in debt.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 was after the French and Indian War. The colonists won the war with the British soldiers, but didn't gain any land. The Proclamation said that the colonists couldn't settle west of the Appalachians into indian territory. The colonists got angry at King George III because they fought for their lives, but in return they didn't get anything.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was made by King George III and Parliament. The purpose was to tax the colonists so King George III could be able to pay his army. He put tax on sugar and molasses from other countries. But all he did was make the colonists angry that they don't have a representative in Parliament.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was between the British soldiers and the colonists. The colonists didn't like the British soldiers coming to Boston and called eachother names like "lobsterback." One day the colonists crowded around one of the arguments. The colonists threw snowballs at the British and even though the British weren't told to shoot, at the end of the massacre five people were dead from guns.

    The Boston Tea Party was on December 16,1773. It started when King George III made the Townshend Acts and put tax on tea, paint, lead, paper. He repealed everything except the tax on tea. A group of patriots called the Sons of Liberty wanted revenge on King George III. So they tried to get as many people as they could to go with them disguised as Mohawk indians to dump about 340 crates of tea into the Boston Harbor.

    Battles of Lexington and Concord
    The battle of Lexington and Concord was between Great Britian and the U.S. colonists. The British got information that the colonists formed a militia and store valuable weapons in Lexington and Concord. The British were trying to go to Lexington and Concord to steal the colonists weapons. Then there was a war, because the colonists wanted to stop the British from stealing their weapons. In the end the colonists won.
  • Paul Revere's Famous Ride

    Paul Revere's Famous Ride
    Paul Revere and William Dawes both rode to warn everyone that the British were coming to steal the weapons that the colonists made. The colonists fought the British and won because the British didn't know that the colonists were coming. It was a success!

    This battle was between the colonists and the red coats. The colonists wanted to prove that they could fight. The colonists won barely. They proved to the red coats that they could fight. This made the british have to fight less often because they would lose too many soldiers.

    The battle of Quebec was between the colonists and the British. The British had all control over Quebec and the colonists wanted to settle on Quebec. The colonists eventually won. It was the turning point to the French and Indian War. It was also the first battle of the American Rvolution.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    The battle of Yorktown was the colonists verses the British. The reason was because the French wanted the colonists to attack Yorktown so they could attack the Carribean. The colonists won over the British. They forced the British to flee the American Revolution.
