    The Treaty of Paris stated that the French had to leave America and the colonists couldn't go into the Ohio River Valley and this angered the colonists because they were'nt able to colonize in the land that they helped to conquer

    It was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty against the tax policy of the British Government that controlled all the tea imported into the colonies. The protest involved the Sons of Liberty dressing up as Mohawk Indians dumping tea into the harbor

  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act reduced the tax on foreign molasses and this was put into place to make the colonists encourage to pay the tax to put an end to smuggling. This really wasn't effective for the colonists wanted the tax gone because they wanted representation parliament.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    Tax on almost all printed goods like newspapers, books, court documents, contracts, and land deeds. This was a first direct tax to colonists and furthered the colonist's anger for British laws imposed on them without representation
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act
    Colonists were required to house and provide supplies for British troops after the French and Indian war but most went along with it because they accepted parliament's right to regulate trade and provide for the defense.

    The Declaratory Act repealed the Stamp Act because the boycotts from the Americas were hurting British trade. Some colonists were still angry because they thought more acts were to come.

    Tax on paper, paint, lead, glass and tea that were imported into the colonies. This made the colonists angry because they are once again being taxed

    A bunch of colonists were throwing snowballs and rocks at a couple of guards. The guards reacted and fired into the crowd. 5 people died and a couple were wounded. Paul Revere used this as propaganda to fire up the colonist's hate for the British
