    Magellan's Expedition
    During Magellan's expedition, he pushed his crew to keep going, saying that they would arrive soon. He was wrong, and the voyage took several more months, and he was killed in the Philippines. Out of the over 200 sailors and 5 ships, they returned to spain with 18 sailors and one ship. The survivors were the first crew to circumnavigate the globe.
