  • Theme statement

    Theme statement
The theme of this book or so I believe is that even if nobody believes there is still hope. This is shown how over the course of the book Elie Wiesels hope and/or faith is lost like when his mom and dad die. But in the end he still made out of the holocaust alive and lived a full life up till july 2016 when he died
  • Elie wiesels father dies

    Elie wiesels father dies
This marks a piece of negative character devolpment where Elie Wiesel takes a turn for the worst after he learns that his father is dead this is because Elie Wiesel began to believe that nothing mattered anymore and he spent his days in idleness.
  • Elie Wiesel is liberated

    Elie Wiesel is liberated
This is a turning point this brings Elie Wiesel back from his idleness and marks the end of his sufering while he lost a great number of things basically everything at least he made it out.
