    The NCLB is a U.S. Act of Congress that supports standards-based education reform. This Act is based on high standards and establishes goals that improves individual education outcome.This act hold teacher and administration acceptable for students performance.
  • Flipped classroom

    Flipped classroom

    The flipped classroom approach is where the teacher lesson is watched at home and during class the students apply what they learned through a variety of activities. Educators guide students into an interactive learning environment where students engage their creativity into the subject matter.

Parents receive individual scores. The students are texted in English, mathematics, language arts, science, and history. This test are only given to students in California public schools.

    President Obama signed the Recovery Act on February 17th, 2009. It was developed in response to the Great Recession, the goal was to save existing jobs and create new possible employment opportunities . It provided $100 billion for education which allowed for opportunities and improvements.

    RTT was a $4.35 billion Educational competitive grant to reform sate and local district K-12 education and reward innovation.The RTT states are scored on a points based rubric. The state that scores the most and put effort are the ones that receive funding.

    The KRA was signed into law on September 30th, 2010. The KRA impacts Kindergarten education by giving students the opportunity to attend a new program called traditional kindergarten and changes the kindergarten enrollment dates (EPPS, 2011).

    The commission is a federal advisory committee chartered by congress. In this committee there are union leaders, school officials, researchers, and civil rights activists. They released a report that stated the lack of commitment ate equality in education for all students. each student is given a seminal report and take into action. There is also a equity checklist and if you meet the list then you are a member the supports equality in education support.

    The final version of the NGSS was released on April 2013. They are new science standards that develops the current state standards. After years, it was time to make advances and understand how students learn science effectively.

    In 34 states the school district requires half a day of kindergarten and 11 require fool days.15 states require kindergarten attendance and 35 states do not. In 19 states it is also required for the student to be 5 by September 1st to able able to attend kindergarten.

    Proposition 58 was a ballot that voter approved in November 2016. It was out voted by 73.5 %. 58 implemented that the California Multilingual Education Act. This Act gives public schools access to dual language programs. no waivers are requires for parents to sign if they wish to have their stunted in a dual or bilingual program. However, it is not mandatory but parents would have noticed mailed on the type of language programs that are available.

    President Trump gave federal guideline that switched what was previously directed by president Obama. He specifically said that the transgender students will use the public school restrooms in which matches their gender identify.In which case the directive violates the the federal anti-discrimination laws.

Teachers deductions are to stay between the $250 limit on buying school supplies. They would also expand the use of the 529 saving plan for K-12 cost. This law would potentially hurt public school and college donations.

    Social emotional leaning is also known as SEL. Which is a process to help students develop skills that benefit their educational and real world. It helps student learn how to manage emotions, create positive relationships with others and learn how to problem solve.

    After COVID-19 cases grew, school closed and went into distance learning. There were millions of cases all over the world that it was safest to do online learning for the remanding of the year. Having distance learning helped prevent the virus from spreading.
