    Project Preparation

    Pool participants representative of 60+ departmental staff, 35+ college administrators and 350+ faculty. Select groups. Groups should be interdisciplinary representative of the colleges affiliate category ratio (faculty:staff:administrators). Use doodle.com to select meeting dates over the span of the project.
  • Project Launch

    Introduce Topic (Anchor and Driving Question). Play video using link from Google Docs. Groups will brainstorm other performance issues facing CAS which will be condensed and shared using Google Docs on a large screen monitor. Similarly, another list will be created to determine attributes of an effective performance intervention in an effort to create generic metrics that will be used to measure each groups intervention. Human Performance Technology model introduced. Project Assigned.
  • Individual Group DIscussion and Sensitivity Training

    Group will meet individually between the previous meeting and this one to select a performance issue within the College. This meeting will see the facilitator and the group engage in a preliminary discussion to help further define project and develop a project plan (for moving forward). Group will also recieve training for managing and delivering feedback (framing feedback), communicating with co-workers, diversity, and handling resistance.

    Data Collection

    Groups will collect information on their topic based on their project plan determined in the last step. They will begin by brainstorming collaboratively on what data they need to collect They will check in with the facilitator throughout this process or povide access to brainstorming tools forthe facilitator to monitor.
  • Summary of Data Collected and Conclusions Drawn

    A summary of all data collected is due to the facilitator along with the groups conclusions regarding the performance issue selected.
  • Individual Group Meetings: Selecting an Intervention

    Hour meetings with each group to discuss what they found during the data collection phase of the project. Topic spefic metrics defined in order to show quantitatively that the generic metrics determined by the large group have been met. Intervention techniques discussed and considered.
  • Period: to

    Intervention Selection and Design

    Groups will select and design their performance intervention and create a visually represented implementation plan. They will present their initial ideas to the large group and facilitator to recieve feedback and help shape the final product.
  • Intervention Presentation

    Intervention and Implementation Timeline will be presented to the appropriate affiliate group accordingly. Depending on the topic, the group may have already identified individuals who will we need to participate.
  • Evaluation

    Each group will use the metrics they identified in the planning process of their project to determine if the project is successful, if not, they will endeavor an explanation as to why along with a proposal for improvement.
  • Final Presentations and Wrap-up Discussion

    In a final meeting with the large group along with the facilitator, individual groups will make a presentation which covers their data collection process, intervention selection and design, implementation, evaluation, ideas for improvement and any additional data they feel is relevant to the project and should be shared. A discussion regarding each project, he various techniques, explanations behind decisions, and learning outcomes will wrap-up the project and session.
