    Sir Walter Raleigh - The Lost Colony of Roanoke
    Sir Walter Raleigh started a colony in America, went back for more colonist, but when he went back to England he had to stay for 1 yr by the queens orders (she was afraid the Spanish would attack). Once he was allowed to go back he made a detour to Cuba in search for treasure & did not get back to the Roanoke for 3 years! By the time he returned the colony was a ghost town; every colonist he had left had disappeared & all that was left was the word Croatoan carved into a tree trunk.

    Jamestown Colony
    Jamestown was a colony led by John Smith, who was saved by princess Pocohontas & was taught how to survive in America. It was because of Pocohontas that their colony survived. John Smith is sent back to England & Pocohontas again saves Jamestown after the colonist take her captive because her father does not rescue her. She likes the colonist & learns their ways, eventually she marries John Rolfe & has a son, Thomas.
