  • The Austrian Anschluss

    The Austrian Anschluss
    The Austrian Anschluss was the unification of Germany and Austria after threats from Hitler. Austrian Nazis were in charge of Austria, leading to the unifying of the two countries.
  • The Munich Conference

    At the Munich Conference, France and Britain created a policy, appeasement, for peace with Hitler. A quote said by Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain "a peace with honor... peace in our time" after returning to Britain.
  • Hitler Demands Danzig

    Hitler wanted Germany to reclaim the city of Danzig. This demand occurred a month after the Munich Conference. This city had been part of Poland since WWI.
